Job Description

The Finance Business Partner will serve as the finance lead for selected business units or functions within Potato Corner Philippines. This role is responsible for providing strong commercial finance support, ensuring that financial insights drive decision-making across operations and franchise growth. The incumbent will partner with business leaders to translate strategy into action, support budgeting, forecasting, performance measurement, and help the business maintain profitability and growth in a fast-paced QSR/franchise environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary finance business partner for one or more business units (e.g., franchise operations, corporate stores, marketing, supply chain).Work with business unit heads to develop annual budgets and periodic forecasts; challenge assumptions, ensure alignment with organisational strategy and drive improved financial performance.Monitor actual performance vs budget/forecast; prepare monthly/quarterly management reports highlighting key variances, business drivers, risks & opportunities.Provide insight into cost structure, margin management, pricing, product mix, franchise royalties and promotional spending; support initiatives to improve profitability.Support strategic initiatives (e.g., new store openings, franchise expansion, new product launches) from a financial perspective: prepare business cases, scenario modelling, ROI analysis.Collaborate with operations and supply chain to ensure cost controls, inventory related finance issues and efficient working capital management (e.g., payment terms, franchise receivables, store opening capex).Partner with marketing and commercial teams to evaluate promotional campaigns, product launches, digital/online ordering metrics and assess their financial implications.Drive continuous improvement of financial planning & analysis (FP&A) processes: streamline reporting, automate where possible, improve forecasting accuracy.Ensure compliance with internal control, accounting policies and finance policies; liaise with internal/external auditors as needed.Communicate financial information effectively to non-finance stakeholders—translate numbers into actionable insights, support decision-making.Provide ad hoc financial analysis and support for senior leadership as required.Key Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or similar; professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.5+ years of finance / commercial finance experience, ideally in retail, quick service restaurants (QSR), franchise business, or consumer goods.Strong commercial mindset: understands P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, cost-drivers and business metrics in a high-volume environment.Excellent analytical skills with ability to build models, interpret data and propose actionable recommendations.Strong business partnering and communication skills: able to engage with stakeholders at all levels, simplify complex financial information.Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities, tight deadlines and ambiguity.Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; experience with financial planning systems / BI tools is an advantage.Experience with franchise business models, store roll-outs, royalty/license fee structures is a plus.Familiarity with Philippine tax, accounting, finance regulations is beneficial.Personal AttributesBusiness-oriented, proactive and solution-driven.Collaborative team player who can also work independently and take ownership.Adaptable and resilient in a fast-changing growth environment.Strong attention to detail but also able to see the big picture.High integrity and ethics in dealing with financial data and business information.What You Will GetOpportunity to play a key role in a rapidly growing, local-global brand with strong expansion in the Philippines and abroad.Exposure to multiple business functions (franchise development, supply chain, marketing, operations) broadening your commercial perspective.Dynamic work environment, entrepreneurial culture and potential to influence significant business decisions.Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with market for high-performing finance professionals.
