This involves providing timely and accurate information and advice to support effective financial management and decision-making.This is a 12-month contract covering parental leave.Responsibilities Also IncludeSupporting the financial planning process by partnering with the business to achieve financial and member outcome targets and understanding industry trendsEnsuring financial implications are understood from a governance perspective and adhering to accounting policies are crucialCollaboration with Financial Control and Actuarial functions as necessaryChallenging the status quo and fostering a culture of continuous improvementBuilding trusted relationships and championing collaborative ways of working to achieve overall objectives are also key aspects of the role.About YouExposure to working in a business partnering capacityStrong mathematical and numerical proficiencyStrong modelling skills using excel or other systemsAbility to effectively prioritise and manage workloadsAbility to use data to identify underlying trends to support decision making and problem solveStrong communication skills, both written and oral Ability to build and maintain effective relationshipsRelevant qualification, e.g., commerce/finance, economics, actuarial or relatedExperience in financial services (Exposure to insurance preferred) Experience providing advice and insightExposure to Tech1 and PowerBi Ngākau nui.
