About The TeamOur Finance team is at the forefront of enabling our business to scale with control and confidence across regions. Working closely with our teams in Customer Success, Delivery, and Operations, we ensure financial integrity while driving strategic decision-making. This role joins a high-impact team that supports global expansion, including our key markets in the US, and will play a crucial role in setting up the finance function from the ground up for our US office in Texas.
About The RoleWe’re looking for a Finance Controller to take ownership of our US regional finance operations and support broader activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building from the ground up, thrives on autonomy, and brings good technical finance expertise and controllership experience. In this role, you’ll set up and lead a small regional finance team, develop core processes, ensure compliance with local regulations, and contribute to financial reporting and strategic decision-making, reporting to Group Finance.
You’ll be at the center of creating a high-functioning finance function that enables the business to operate confidently and compliantly in the US and beyond. What You'll DoAs the first US finance employee part of the larger group, you’ll set the standard for the US accounting operations and manage the day-to-day running of the finance function for US operating regions. Apply US GAAP technical advice through the management accounts and consult with GroupMeet group reporting requirements by preparing accurate and timely submissions Manage a small team, including a Management accountant and indirect reports (e. g.
Accounts Payable)Ensure local compliance across tax, payroll, reporting, and regulatory filingsPrepare and manage cashflow and treasury operationsMeet customer reporting and billing requirementsOwn month-end close processes, account reconciliations and year-end reporting activitiesSupport local audit effortsPartner with internal teams to support project delivery and align finance with business milestonesCreate and document formal accounting processes and policies. Streamline expense processes.
Work with external stakeholders and clients on contract support and financial processesContribute to the design and implementation of scalable finance systems and toolsCollaborate with other regional finance colleagues to ensure global consistency and process improvemenWhat You'll NeedA recognized accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent) gained in a robust training environment such as with EY, Deloitte, PwC or KPMGA good understanding of US GAAP. IFRS experience is a bonus but not essential .
