Finance Director - Client Services

The Finance Director will lead a client-focused finance team servicing SPVs and AIF structures. The role combines people leadership, technical oversight, and direct client interaction to ensure high-quality service delivery, while driving process improvement and system enhancement.Key Responsibilities: Oversee financial reporting, accounting and consolidation for SPVs and AIF structures (private equity, real estate, infrastructure).Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial statements, regulatory filings, and investor reporting in accordance with LuxGAAP or IFRS.Act as the senior financial point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring service excellence.Ensure robust internal controls, compliance with local regulations, and adherence to company policies.Review and validate complex transactions, NAV calculations and key client deliverables.Oversee billing, WIP management, and profitability analysis across the client portfolio.Streamline accounting, reporting, and workflow processes through automation and best practices.Support commercial activities by participating in client pitches, proposals, and relationship-building meetings.Collaborate closely with senior management on strategic initiatives, including operational efficiency, service expansion, and client onboarding.Liaise with external parties such as auditors, tax advisors and banksLead, mentor, and develop a team: Set performance objectives, conduct evaluations, and promote a culture of accountability and continuous learning.Responsible for recruiting full-time employees and consultants to support growth and project needs.Profile: 12+ years’ experience in a corporate services provider, fund administrator, or similar environment.Strong background with SPVs and AIF structures.Proven leadership experience managing teams of varying seniority.Demonstrated experience hiring and managing both FTEs and consultants.Strong knowledge of LuxGAAP and IFRS Strong communication, problem-solving, and client relationship skills.ERP migration experience is a strong asset
