Job Description

We are looking for a talent who is suitable for the position of Finance Executive (Dubai) to join Stavian to #GOGLOBAL with the following criteria & work: Accounting & General Ledger Management:Manage the end-to-end accounting cycle, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), fixed asset registry, and general ledger reconciliation.Ensure timely and accurate recording of all financial transactions into the company's ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle).Perform comprehensive bank and ledger reconciliations on a daily and monthly basis, promptly identifying and resolving discrepancies.Prepare and process journal entries, ensuring supporting documentation is complete and compliant. Trade Finance & Treasury:Oversee daily cash flow management and forecasting for the Dubai entity.Liaise closely with banks to execute local and international fund transfers, manage currency exposures, and optimize banking relationships.Process and monitor Trade Finance instruments, including Letters of Credit (LCs) and Bank Guarantees, ensuring documentation aligns with commercial contracts. Assist in monitoring working capital cycles, particularly inventory costing and movement, crucial for a commodity trading business. Financial Reporting & Compliance:Assist the Finance Manager in preparing detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) under IFRS.Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of UAE VAT returns and related tax compliance documentation.Coordinate and prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.Develop and maintain documentation for all accounting policies and procedures. 2.Requirements:Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Must have graduated with a distinction or high honors from a reputable university.1+ years of progressive experience in an accounting or finance role.Preferred: Prior experience in the commodity trading, logistics, or chemical/petrochemical industry is highly desirable.Preferred: Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CIMA is a strong advantage.
