The role will focus primarily on Accounts Payable and Payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Danish financial and tax regulations. This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.TasksAccounts PayableProcess and verify supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and appropriate approvalsMaintain vendor records and manage supplier relationshipsPrepare and execute payment runs in accordance with company policiesReconcile supplier accounts and resolve invoice/payment discrepanciesSupport month-end and year-end closing activities related to APPayrollPrepare and process payroll for Danish employees in compliance with local legislationSupport the HR function with accurate payroll records, including tax, pension, holiday, and leave dataCoordinate with HR to ensure correct and timely updates of employee informationLiaise with external payroll providers and HR systems, such as ZenegyRegister and maintain reimbursement records with Udbetaling DanmarkGeneral Finance SupportAssist with reconciliations, accruals, and other accounting tasks as requiredSupport audits by preparing necessary documentationContribute to process improvement initiatives within FinanceRequirementsRelevant educational background in accounting, finance, or related fieldProven experience in accounts payable and payroll in DenmarkKnowledge of Danish tax, labour, and payroll regulationsExperience using ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business CentralProficient in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)High attention to detail and accuracyStrong organisational and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProfessional proficiency in Danish and EnglishBenefitsAt Gentoo Media, we’re redefining affiliate marketing in iGaming - and we know that great work starts with great people.
