Our people have a high degree of responsibility.Purpose Of The RoleThe Cash & Bank Accounting Intern will support the finance team by assisting with tasks related to the company’s cash and bank transactions. This includes helping with the preparation of journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and accounts, and performing bank reconciliations. The intern will also play a key role in supporting the weekly cash forecast process and actively participate in monthly closings and account analysis. Through this internship, the candidate will gain practical experience in general accounting and financial operations, while learning about compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.Your Responsibilities follow SOP’s (given by the BPO’s), process daily bank statements allocating incoming cash resolve open items on clearing accounts prepare journal entries complete general ledger operations actively participate in monthly closings Post and reconcile cashpool (interco loan) movements, interests process revaluation of banks assist with year-end closing support of weekly cash forecasting (RTF) process by checking customer payments support Supervisor and Manager in ad-hoc requests This role will suit you if you have the following: Active Full-time student status in Hungary University studies in finance, accounting or economies Must have completed at least 2 years of university studies 0-1 years of experience in finance/accounting Any relevant experience is considered an advantage Confident communication in English MS Excel usage is a must Availability to work 18-20 hours per week - not necessarily mean 4 hours per day; we are flexible and can accommodate exam schedules. If available for more than 20 hours, it is an advantage.
