Finance Lead

The Finance Lead will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the business and driving the company’s financial strategy and planning. He/she will lead all financial tasks including, budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and profit and loss reporting, and tax compliance of AIRR Labs PH. He/she will be a key partner to the senior management team in creating forecasting models, providing financial insights, and assessing risk in Investments.To be successful as Finance Lead in a rapidly growing start-up, he/she must have a strong foundation in accounting, financial and business principles while being a strategic thinker and practical problem solver. He/she must be able to develop and implement scalable financial processes and solutions for the company. He/she must also be able to communicate and train the organization to adhere to sound financial and accounting principles.Responsibilities:Drive financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks.Ensure that the organization is fully compliant with the statutory regulations (SEC & BIR) and on-time submission of all compliances.Conduct risk management to ensure that there will be no high financial impact incidents.Develop annual financial plans and projections for the company together with senior management.Perform financial modeling and analysis to evaluate strategic business decisions and investments.Oversee submission of reports on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis for internal and external stakeholders.Provide sound financial support and insights and business partnering with leadership team to make critical business decisions.Manage and oversee the cash flow of the company and ensure it has the appropriate controls.Oversee all finance-related activities including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial and Management Accounting functions.Manage and oversee payroll processing and payroll-related compliances.Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with accounting standards and financial regulations.Set-up and oversee the company’s finance IT systemManage and oversee the company’s banking and borrowing arrangements, if anyManage and provide ongoing training to finance and accounting personnel.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or relevant fieldRelevant certification, must be a CFA/CPAProven work experience as Finance Manager or similar role5+ years of experienceExperience in leading a teamIn-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practicesHands-on experience in cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeepingExcellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting modelsStrong analytical decision-making and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage complex projects with attention to detailExcellent organizational and leadership skillsOutstanding communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in accounting softwareExperience in eCommerce industry
