Finance / Legal Administrator (Trade Marks)We are seeking a highly organised and detail‑oriented Finance & Legal Administrator to join our Istanbul office, supporting the firm’s global Trade Marks practice within the Brand Management group. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and financial support, with a particular focus on billing operations, disbursement management, and the administration of cost schedules.This role involves extensive collaboration with the support teams based in the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates, as well as regular interaction with colleagues, clients, and third‑party partners across multiple jurisdictions. Prior experience in trade marks or intellectual property is advantageous but not required; however, the successful candidate will be expected to acquire the necessary technical knowledge relating to trade mark filing, prosecution, and maintenance in a timely manner and to demonstrate the ability to adapt to the demands of a highly specialised, international practice environment.All daily communication will be conducted in English. Key responsibilities include:Maintain and update client cost schedules relating to trade mark filing, prosecution, and maintenance.Review, verify, and process incoming disbursement invoices from international associates and official bodies.Approve and accurately record disbursements within the firm’s financial systems in a timely and compliant manner.Provide Fee Earners and billing coordinators with up‑to‑date financial information, and assist in preparing internal and external financial reports.Draft client cost schedules and support the ongoing maintenance of the firm’s fee and cost database.Manage designated inboxes, responding to queries from clients, colleagues, and external partners with professionalism and claritySkills and Attributes Business‑level fluency in English.Experience working within a professional office environment.Strong numerical accuracy and confidence in handling financial information.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong general IT competence.Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy.Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines.Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment.A professional, adaptable, and constructive approach to work.DesirableAn interest in, or exposure to, the Intellectual Property or legal sector.Experience in finance or administrative functions within a corporate, international, or professional services environment
