For more information, visit www.pepsico.com.ResponsibilitiesWhat we’re looking for:Oversees the accounting operations of the unit, ensuring adherence to established financial practices and policies. Coordinates with the unit for budget preparation and financial reporting. Additional responsibilities include conducting internal audits, facilitating training, managing master data, overseeing financial process controls, and monitoring authorisation controls.Accounatabilities: Analyse and report on financial performance against benchmarks and proceduresManage working capital and plan, co-ordinate & compile annual ops & capital budgetsVerify monthly income, balance sheet & cash flow statements and plan, co-ordinate & compile monthly reportsDevelop unit financial procedures and train and manage employees on financial systems, policies & proceduresManage internal financial authorisations, systems and auditsManage performance and talent of own teamMaintain functional and legal framework.Implement best practices and utilize SAP functionality.Maintain interdepartmental relationships and encourage continuous improvements.Manage debtors in excess of R25 millionControl of inventory and stock write offWeekly forecast and analyzing of sales forecastManagement of manpower budgets and expensesAccounting procedures are performed on-time, accurate, and within standardsDebtors and creditors are managed timeously & within standardsUnit’s management information is on-time, accurate, and within standardsMonthly reports are on-time, accurate, and within standardsAudit recommendations and fraud are mitigated by planned controlsFunctional strategy (1-3 years) blended in with and support overall business strategySupporting strategic plan and AOP development, including deck analysis and deck preparation Team strength, performance & energy matched strategic requirements.Actively participate and coordinate employee engagement initiatives, talent management and recognition for the Finance Team. Liaising with and capacitating of 3rd parties such as customers, suppliers, agents etc.Support the Bakery Team to manage budgets in an effective and efficient manner. Driving and ensuring compliance with PepsiCo Global standards and policiesQualificationsWhat will qualify you for the role:University degree, with Professional accounting qualification recommended Experienced accounting background (preferably 6 years and above)Knowledge of beverage business or comparable FMCG/retail businessesExperience of PepsiCo Reporting, Planning and Control processes6 years financial experience in FMCG environmentComputer literacy (MS Advanced Excel / Word / SAP / SAP Business Intelligence Portal)Ability to work under pressure, accurately and independently“PepsiCo is an Equal Opportunity Employer in line with the Employment Equity Act"
