With a focus on design excellence and customer satisfaction, we offer warranty and high-quality products.Role DescriptionTo lead and manage the day to day Financial and Accounting operations of the company, and among many other things spearhead the preparation and management of the financial budgets, ensuring sound financial planning, reporting, and compliance with the tax laws and other statutory obligations.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Masters’ degree may be an advantage.Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, etc.) preferred.Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing or cabinetry/furniture or construction environment.Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory management, and ERP/accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or SAP).Expat living in Accra, Ghana preferred.Key Tasks and ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & Reporting·     Develop and maintain effective financial management systems for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.·     Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards, whilst ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial records.·     Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against budget and forecasts.·     Oversee general ledger reconciliations and ensure proper documentation.Budgeting and Forecasting·     Lead the annual budgeting process across all departments (production, procurement, sales, logistics, etc.).·     Provide detailed forecasts of sales, expenses, and capital investments.·     Monitor budget adherence and identify areas for cost optimization.Cash Flow & Treasury Management·     Manage daily cash flow to ensure smooth business operations.·     Supervise accounts receivable and payable activities, ensuring timely collections and payments.·     Oversee banking relationships, credit facilities, and loan management.·     Ensure optimal working capital management.Compliance & Internal Controls·     Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, statutory reporting, and company policies.·     Prepare and file all tax returns (VAT, PAYE, corporate tax, etc.) on time.·     Develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets.·     Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.Strategic Planning & Advisory·     Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions, such as pricing models, new product lines, and expansion projects.·     Conduct financial feasibility studies for capital investments and machinery acquisitions.·     Advise management on financial risks and opportunities.Job Location: Accra, Ghana
