Finance Manager

A well-established manufacturing business based in Paarden Eiland, supplying FMCG products to all major retailers in South Africa is seeking a Financial Manager to join their team.About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified (CA)SA who is eager to gain experience in commerce and leadership within a stable, systems-driven company. You’ll work closely with an owner/CEO who has an accounting background and values accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and mentor a small accounts team of four.Maintain and oversee the SAGE accounting system and integrated costing systems.Handle all pricing and trade term functions.Drive and interrogate the cost management of the business.Oversee all traditional accounting functions including debtors, creditors, payroll, imports, asset and cash management.Manage intercompany accounts between trading and holding entities.Contribute to system improvements and dynamic costing initiatives to support strategic decision-making.RequirementsQualified Chartered Accountant (CA)SA.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in SAGE and Excel (advanced level advantageous).Excellent communication and leadership skills.A hands-on approach with a focus on process improvement and cost efficiency.Why Join UsExposure to the full financial function in a fast-paced FMCG environment.Opportunity to gain leadership experience and work closely with top management.Stable and well-structured business with a strong reputation in the industry.Work on-site in Paarden Eiland, Cape TownMonthly salary up to R50 000 depending on the candidate
