Our client, a leading real estate investment firm, is looking for an Financial Reporting Specialist to join their Financial Reporting & Operations team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering best-in-class financial reporting and operational excellence across their real estate funds.The Role:As an integral member of the Real Estate Finance team, you’ll be responsible for producing timely, accurate, and insightful financial information that informs investor reporting, supports internal decision-making, and drives operational improvements. You will collaborate closely with multiple internal stakeholders, including Asset Management, Business Strategy, Transactions, Capital Markets, and Investor Relations, while contributing to strategic projects across the firm.Key Responsibilities:Lead the quarterly distribution process, ensuring accurate cash availability, coordinating approvals with internal teams, managing FX trades, and preparing high-quality reports for senior management.Oversee operations of the firm’s bond programme, including debt and interest allocation tracking, financing statements, audits, and support of the annual credit rating process.Support the preparation and senior review of quarterly P&Ls, collaborating across funds and regions to improve reporting consistency and automation.Monitor investment cash and liquidity positions to support working capital management and maximize interest income.Act as a trusted partner to internal stakeholders, producing both recurring and ad-hoc analysis to support asset management and fund strategy decisions.Identify opportunities to enhance processes, implement technology initiatives, and drive efficiency.Work with the Valuation team to ensure accurate investment-level financial information is included in fund NAVs.Qualifications & Experience:Degree qualified with ACA/ACCA (or local equivalent) or CFA.5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, ideally with exposure to real estate or asset management.Strong analytical and financial acumen, with excellent Excel and accounting skills.Experience leveraging technology for process improvement or automation is highly desirable.Exceptional motivation, independence, and ability to manage competing priorities.Strong interpersonal skills and confidence in building relationships with senior stakeholders.Inquisitive mindset with a commitment to accountability and continuous improvement.Willingness to take on projects outside core responsibilities and support colleagues.
