As an investor-backed Management Buy-Out, we're on a high-growth trajectory and building an agile, high-performance organization as a newly independent company.Role overviewWe are seeking a transformative & result-driven individual to drive our dynamic and evolving finance landscape. This pivotal role requires a master of organizational transformation who can manage and contribute to develop a modern and innovative finance function in a global organisation. You will work on and manage day-to-day finance tasks in addition to support shaping the finance function. This is a newly established and diverse role in finance.Key responsbilitiesCash management and treasuryCash flow management, planning and cash forecasting across the groupDevelop and improve intercompany management and agreementsPlanning, budgeting, FPA, modelling, controllingDrive budgeting cycles and forecastingRun sensitivity scenarios based on different assumptionsProvide forward looking insights to support strategic decisionsRevenue and cost controlling, performing gap and variance analysesAccounting & reportingCollaborate with the accounting team, ensure timely and robust bookkeeping, and drive monthly closing processDevelop further reporting and align with cost centres in the process e.g. sales, R&D, engineeringConsolidation across groupSupport in annual statements preparation and audit processOverseeing, driving and collaborating in revenue operationsDrive processes or improve them with regards to order management, account receivables, collection, dunning; also supporting the implementation of new tools as part of the scalingRefine and develop an ARR model, including churn, expansion and KPIs e.g. marginsCollaborate with other teams such as sales to improve forecasting, pricing, efficiencyOverseeing, driving and collaborating in expenses operationsDrive processes or improve them with regards to incoming invoices, account payables, payment process; also supporting the implementation of new tools as part of the scalingKey requirementsDegree in finance, economics, or a related field; additional qualifications such as MBA, CIMA, CPA preferred but not necessary7+ years of progressive finance experience; ideally a combination of audit or banking experience with an operating finance roleSoftware or SaaS experience preferredExpertise in SaaS metrics, financial modelling, FP&A, cash flow managementProven ability to build-out and develop a finance function, tools and processes leading into a robust and meaningful reportingExperience in an international set-up with a multi-entity approachTech savy with advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; ideally also financial tools (Lucanet, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, agile mindset and ability to innovateFluent in German and English (both at least C1)What we offerA varied role in a renowned and fast-growing companyA dynamic work environment and excellent development opportunitiesHigh level of personal responsibilityWork with cutting-edge SaaS IoT technology alongside dynamic leadership teamAn authentic, diverese and open corporate cultureFlat hierarchiesThis is an exciting opportunity to shape the financial model and efficiency as we scale further our SaaS business to our customers across the globe.Join us as we write the next chapter of Cumulocity's story - where people excellence drives business success globally.Please email a copy of your CV - Bilingual (English and German) to careers@cumulocity.comCumulocity is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, inclusion, and excellence across our global workforce.
