Job Description

We are seeking a Finance Manager, with regulatory requirements, strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices, who will be responsible for overseeing our accounting processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records and compliance.This role will work in partnership with our financial services internal and external parties, as well as various internal departments reviewing and preparing various financial analysis, statements and reports.We will count on you to:Local Financial ManagementOversee all financial operations for the site, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulationsManage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to support business objectivesMonitor cash flow, manage accounts payable and receivable, and optimize working capitalReview monthly accounting closures, ensuring their accuracy and completenessReview submission of monthly tax declarations and annual financial statements in accordance with the lawProvide day-to-day supervision for the team and oversee all operational activities within the defined control environment, recognized business processes, and tight reporting deadlinesReview all balance sheet reconciliations within the team's scope and assist with expectation reporting and quality checksImplement and maintain effective internal controls and financial policiesPrepare and present timely financial reports and analysis to the management teamEnsure compliance with all current legal and tax regulations in RomaniaCollaborate with various cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, support business growth, strategic decisions and ensure operational efficiencyDevelop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and accuracyPrepare necessary documentation for ad-hoc or annual financial auditsCorporate Alignment and ReportingEnsure alignment of the Romania office’s financial activities with the global financial policies, standards and strategic objectivesConsolidate and report financial results from the Romania office to the corporate finance team accurately and on timeSupport corporation-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning by providing detailed local insights and dataCollaborate with corporate finance and accounting teams to implement global financial systems, controls, and compliance frameworksFacilitate internal and external audits by coordinating with corporate auditors and ensuring adherence to corporate governance standardsMonitor and manage compliance with international accounting standards (IFRS, as applicable)Participate in corporate financial risk management initiatives, including currency exposure, tax planning, and capital structure optimizationDrive the implementation of best practices in financial reporting, accounting processes, and internal controls in line with corporate requirementsAct as a liaison between the Romania office and corporate finance leadership to ensure transparency, consistency, and timely communication of financial mattersWhat you need to have:Fluency in English and Romanian, both written and spokenMinimum 5 years of experience in finance management, preferably within a multinational environmentStrong knowledge of Romanian accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial compliance requirementsProficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools (e.g. Oracle, SAP, or similar)Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.A University degree in the
