Role Overview:The Finance Manager is responsible for driving the organization’s financial performance and overseeing all accounting operations. This role manages financial records, ensures regulatory compliance, oversees audits, analyzes financial data, monitors expenditures, and forecasts revenues. The Finance Manager develops financial strategies, implements strong internal controls, and ensures accurate reporting to support sustainable growth and organizational goals.Key Responsibilities: • Establish operational processes, controls and procedures for expenditure discipline, budgetary controls and cost efficiency across all operational activities within the organization.• Responsible for Controllership environment, including policy development and adherence, accounting, process management, operational and financial reporting, compliance with IFRS, accounts receivable and payable management, pricing and controlled self-assessments to ensure more improving efficiencies and creating cost control across business.• Direct oversight of monthly transaction and financial close activities, Corporate Accounting policies and IFRS• Preparation, interpretation & presentation of financial reports to Executive Management for review• Drive the budgeting process, consolidation and expenditure control with respect to budget.• Support and participation in strategic planning efforts and addressing continuous improvement through business demands both internal and external.• Identify and drive recommendations to strategically enhance the financial and operational performance and external vendor partners• Directly develop and manage the team & provide cross-functional direction and support to ensure compliance with statutory laws and financial regulations and drive income generation.• Partner with Executives and functional heads to identify and report upon key financial and operational metrics to improve the business and establish/monitor internal control measures.• Extensive support of Financial and car rental application system development, including user acceptance testing and implementation of enhancements in JD Edwards and front-end systems.• Strong partnership and collaboration with Group CFO on accounting, policy, control, operational, audit and process matter across the Group• Responsible for Key Account Management & conducting P&L for Commercial deals• Streamlining accounting functions and operations & developing plans for financial growth by evaluating and applying risk mitigation.• Define an optimum organization structure for the function, so that resources are properly utilized, and communications can be executed in an efficient manner.Skills and Qualifications: • Chartered Accountant with 10+ years of post-qualification and experience as head of Finance in a Large/Medium size professionally managed organization for 3+ years.• Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management and general finance and budgeting.• Excellent financial / accounting software user and administration skills (JD Edwards Knowledge, and Power BI preferred)• Demonstrated track record of process improvement and improving controls with strong sense of accountability & ownership.• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.• Should have handled roles of Finance Manager in the past for better fitment in the role• Experience in conducting month-end and year-end closing, cost allocation, revenue recognition, budget creation and management, cash management and management of restricted grants.• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to extract meaning from numbers and present analysis clearly and concisely to people with widely varying degrees of financial knowledge.• Demonstrated experience and expertise with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
