Finance Manager

EMPOWERMENT is delighted to partner with a leading Fintech firm to hire a talented Big-Four trained accountant. The ideal candidate will provide hands-on support over international technical accounting and reporting and will involve researching technical accounting matters, drafting related position papers, preparation and review of financial statements, special projects and managing relationships with external auditors. Responsibilities:Leading the production and review of statutory financial statements under IFRS and other applicable international frameworksManaging the full audit cycle for both group and local entitiesSupporting CFO and board-level reporting by providing insight into financial results, technical matters, and accounting for complex and judgmental transactionsConducting in-depth technical accounting research, drafting position papers, and advising on complex transactions, particularly in areas of investments, M&A, group restructures and other areasMonitoring developments in IFRS and similar frameworks, contributing to strategic initiatives including IPP readiness Experience:Bachelors Degree in Accounting or similar disciplineBig Four Trained (ACA/ACCA/CPA) with minimum of 3+ years' PQE (Manager/Senior Manager level)Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of IFRSSuperior communication skills and ability to network at all levels of an organisation On offer is an attractive salary and benefits package in a collegiate, supportive and flexible hybrid work environment*Only candidates who meet the above requirements will be shortlisted for consideration**Only candidates based in Ireland, with an Irish/EU passport, will be considered due to the nature of the role Contact Information:To discuss this opportunity in confidence, please apply directly to this posting and Karl Byrne, Director & Head of Financial Services, will reach out to discuss accordingly.
