This role will play a critical part in driving strategic decision-making by designing, developing, and maintaining robust financial models, leading reporting processes, and implementing technology-driven solutions to enhance forecasting, reporting, and planning capabilities. The ideal candidate will bridge financial analysis with system optimization, ensuring our finance function is data-driven, scalable, and forward-looking.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Modeling & AnalysisDesign, build, and maintain dynamic financial models for forecasting, budgeting, business planning, and scenario analysis.Partner with business leaders to assess financial implications of strategic initiatives, investments, and new business opportunities.Translate complex business and operational inputs into clear, data-driven insights to support executive decision-making.Develop sensitivity analyses, risk assessments, and valuation models to support capital allocation and growth strategies.Reporting & ForecastingDevelop, generate, and maintain accurate and timely reports for Board and external investor reporting (including ICG reporting).Group balance sheet and cash flow forecasting.Legal entity-level income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasting.Provide insights and recommendations from reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.Ensure consistency, compliance, and transparency across all reporting frameworks.Finance Systems & AdministrationAct as System Administrator for Sage X3, ZAPP, and VENA finance systems, ensuring robust setup, accuracy, and ongoing reliability.Serve as the technical expert for finance systems, responsible for training, knowledge sharing, and embedding best practices across the Group.Drive the journey to maximize operating efficiency from finance systems.Lead and project manage finance-related system initiatives including: Expenses application, document scanning/PO process, and automation of sales reconciliations.UAT and finance business readiness for changes impacting financial processes.ERP implementation projects, including migration of Rock onto the Sage X3 platform to further leverage Group Finance function efficiencies.Always ensure financial compliance, system integrity, and strong governance around finance technology.Stakeholder ManagementCollaborate with FP&A, Accounting, Business Partnes, and business unit leaders to deliver financial insights that drive performance.Present models, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership in a clear and actionable manner.Train and mentor team members on financial modeling best practices and system usage.Job RequirementsCIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualified, with a strong academic background.Hands on experience in Budgeting Track system and project management skills record with at least 3 years post-qualified experience.Experience with LEAN principles or other project management is advantageous.Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with non-financial leaders and to operate effectively in a demanding environment.Strong presentation and communication skillsProven and demonstrable technical skillsChange-management skills with a proven record of proactively identifying requirements and successfully driving change.Strong financial acumen with the ability to deal sensitively with key issues and gain the confidence of team members at all levelsDiversity & InclusionAt Intervest, we’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
