We're not just growing; we're pioneering a field.We are now seeking a highly motivated, Standalone Finance Manager to own, build, and scale our financial operations.This is a critical, high-impact role where you'll be the single point of ownership for Finance. You won't just design the financial strategy and processes—you will also be deeply involved in the hands-on execution. You will manage everything from high-level management reporting and strategic controlling to the day-to-day oversight of operational finance and accounting tasks.As a core partner to the Leadership Team, you will turn data into strategy, directly supporting executive decisions and playing a significant role in shaping our future. Financial Management and Controlling (Management Reporting)Lead the creation and regular update of the company's budget.Develop and continuously optimize the Management Reporting structure (P&L, Cashflow, Balance Sheet).Conduct cash flow forecasting.Prepare detailed variant analyses of sales, comparative data, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for strategic reviews.Prepare executive-level reports for the Management Board.II. Control and Operations (Oversight of Accounting)Supervise and own the entire month-end closing process, including verification of accounting data accuracy and control over document posting procedures.Coordinate and verify operational tasks related to collecting and coding invoices and reconciling bank statements.Manage primary and ad-hoc payment batches and continuously monitor bank accounts.Oversee accounting during year-end closing, supervise inventory procedures, and act as the main point of contact for the annual financial audit, collaborating closely with the external auditor.III. Process Implementation and ProjectsComprehensive management of the grant/subsidy settlement and reporting process.Initiate and implement new financial processes and tools to support company scale-up.We Are Looking For:Minimum 4-5 years of hands-on experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Financial Consultant, or Auditor.Proven practical knowledge in Management Controlling and building comprehensive Management Reports (P&L, Cashflow, Balance Sheet) from scratch.Excellent foundational knowledge of accounting (ideally Polish standards) to effectively manage and verify the work of external accounting providers and resolve complex settlements independently.High proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets (expert ability to manipulate large datasets and build robust financial models).Fluent English is mandatory (required for reporting to investors and international structures).Strong Proactivity and Ownership – the ability to take full responsibility for processes, identify inefficiencies, and drive improvements without constant supervision.Nice to Have:Direct experience working in a startup / scale-up / technology company.Experience working with warehouse systems/modules.Knowledge of long-term contract revenue recognition and settlement.What we offerPosition in a truly innovative scientific company allowing professional growthCollaborative work in stimulating and friendly environmentAbility to work in a group of highly ambitious and motivated peopleFlexible work approach, flexible hoursCompetitive salaryNecessary working toolsComprehensive benefits package, including private medical healthcare (Luxmed)Participation in Employee Stock Options Plan
