This position is ideal for a seasoned finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAdvise management on financial affairs and support strategic planning.Oversee financial accounting processes, including journal entries and general ledger maintenance.Coordinate period-end closing and prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L).Analyze balance sheet items and resolve outstanding issues.Support FP&A activities: reporting structures, plan/actual analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.Act as the primary contact for audits (accounting/tax).Provide documentation for tax filings and ensure compliance with local regulations.Collaborate across teams to streamline workflows and resolve issues.Requirements7+ years in general accounting and journal entry.Strong knowledge of Japan GAAP and tax regulations.5+ years supporting tax filings and SAP FICO module experience.Expertise in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).English communication skills (TOEIC 800+ or equivalent).Preferred QualificationsCPA, Tax Accountant certification, or USCPA.Bookkeeping Level 2.
