Career OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Finance professional with approximately 7 years of relevant experience to lead and oversee our finance, accounting, and back-office functions. Reporting to the CFO and acting as his right-hand man, you will be responsible for coordinating with external service providers, ensuring financial and regulatory compliance, supporting fund operations, and driving improvements in processes and reporting. Responsibilities· Oversight of service providers: Act as the main point of contact for Central Administration, Transfer Agent, AIFM, Depositary, tax advisors, and auditors. Review their work and ensure high-quality outputs.· Financial reporting & controls: Oversee the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial reports (Lux GAAP / IFRS), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.· Audit & tax management: Lead and coordinate the annual audit process, oversee VAT and corporate tax returns, and manage relationships with auditors and tax advisors.· Cash flow & treasury management: Monitor liquidity, ensure accurate intercompany invoicing, manage payment processes, and oversee capital call and equalisation procedures.· Financial planning & analysis (FP&A): Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and cost monitoring, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.· Fund operations: Ensure smooth execution of back-office processes, compliance with fund regulations, and continuous improvement of internal controls.· Financial controlling: Oversee the financial controlling function, including the review of expense reports, monitoring of cost allocations, and ensuring accurate and efficient use of company resources.· Investor reporting: Supervise the preparation of investor communications, quarterly fund updates, and financial data for fundraising and investor due diligence.· AML/KYC oversight: Monitor and oversee AML/KYC processes for investors and service providers, ensuring compliance with Luxembourg and international regulatory standards.· Due Diligence support: Provide ad-hoc support on financial due diligences and valuations of portfolio companies.· Team support: Provide ad-hoc support and work closely with all team members to ensure alignment on financial goals and policies. Requirements· Experience: Around 7 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or fund administration within Private Equity, Alternative Investment Funds, or asset management. Big Four background considered a plus.· Education: Master’s degree in finance, Accounting or Economics. Professional certifications as ACCA or ICA are a must. CPA and/or CFA is an asset.· Knowledge: Strong understanding of Luxembourg fund structures, Lux GAAP/IFRS accounting, equalisation, capital calls, investor reporting, AML/KYC requirements, and regulatory obligations.· Technical skills: Advanced Excel and MS Office proficiency; advanced in financial modelling and analysis.· Languages: Fluency in English (oral and written) is required; knowledge of French is an advantage.· Attributes: Strong analytical skills, hands-on and proactive approach, excellent communication abilities, and capacity to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
