Maersk is looking for a talent to drive financial leadership in the joint venture entities of Maersk Greater China Area. Responsible for JVs’ financial compliance, corporate governance and performance management; aimed at protecting the group’s interest while maximizing value creation. Ensure an appropriate control environment to provide accurate and timely reporting of JV financials. Build efficient and high performing JV finance teams.Key Responsibilities:Ensure accurate and timely reporting of JVs’ financial to Maersk Group.Ensure integrity and credibility of our JVs’ financial statements, review periodic movements and B/S Account Reconciliation, acknowledge material one-off transactions and provisions (despite of non-controlling JVs).Financial Compliance & Corporate Governance – Oversee the financial compliance and corporate governance processes of JVs, while ensuring adherence to local and international regulations and corporate policies.Review and approve (sometimes prepare) JVs’ corporate law documents, incl Board resolution, AoA, Register of Owners, etc. (in close collaboration with legal), and ensure timely and accurate company management updates and renewals (Board of Directors, Powers of attorney).Provide continuous support in reducing trapped cash and optimizing working capital to fund dividend distribution.Work with CEN JV management team to optimize the JVs’ governance, so that local JV partners better understand Maersk standards and JVs can follow Maersk policies and procedures with efficiency and effectiveness.Regular performance management, forecast and budget of JVs.Partner with corresponding JV and business leaders in strategic decision making.Finance owner of JVs’ investment cases; provide effective financial evaluation of all new/renewal investments and effective post investment reviews.Financial / Tax Risk Management & Control of JVs.Build efficient and high performing JV finance teamsWe are looking for:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or economics fields.Professional Qualification in accounting such as CPA/ACCA/CA.Big 4 experience preferred.Strong financial understanding, analytical skills and business acumenSolid communication, influence and stakeholder management skills10+ years’ work experience with proven track record of audit, controlling, and performance management (or business partnership).Comfortable working with a wide range of business and functional stakeholders and various levels in the organizationHighly skilled in written and spoken EnglishLogistics or other service industry experience is a plus.Strong business ethics, conducts all activities with honesty and integrity in line with company values; looks out for the best interest of the companyAnalytical, Critical mindset, and StrategicResilient and able to work under pressureGood at information processing and dealing with complexity.Communicate in simple and clear business language to all relevant stakeholders.Self-aware, assertive, willing to learn and help others.Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
