Job Description
Key Responsibilities1. Full-Cycle Accounting• Independently handle day-to-day accounting, monthly/year-end closing and ageing analysis for entities in the US, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore;• Maintain GL, AR, AP and fixed-asset modules in compliance with US GAAP, J-GAAP, HKFRS and SFRS;• Prepare standalone and consolidated financial statements in line with group policies and statutory disclosures.2. Consolidation & Financial Analysis• Lead multi-currency consolidation, equity elimination and foreign-currency translation;• Deliver monthly management reports, budget-vs-actual analysis and rolling forecasts to support business decisions.3. Tax Compliance & Planning• Coordinate the computation, filing and payment of VAT, sales tax, GST, corporate income tax and withholding taxes across jurisdictions;• Liaise with Big-4 firms and local tax authorities on audits, transfer-pricing documentation and incentive applications;• Assess tax risks in cross-border contracts and implement optimisation initiatives.4. Treasury & FX Management• Prepare cash-flow forecasts for each entity and monitor bank balances and fund security;• Arrange overseas financing, L/C facilities and FX hedging to mitigate currency exposure.5. Policy & Team Development• Establish and continuously improve overseas finance policies, processes and internal controls;• Manage local outsourced accounting/tax teams through training and performance management to ensure service quality and compliance.6. Others• Support group audits, internal controls and ERP roll-outs;• Undertake ad-hoc projects assigned by senior management.Qualifications1. Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related fields; AICPA/ACCA/CFA preferred;2. Experience:3-5 years of overseas audit experience in Big-4 firms, familiar with regulations in at least two of the US, Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore; hands-on consolidation and tax-planning experience required;3. Technical Skills: Proficient in US GAAP, IFRS and local tax rules; experienced with advanced Excel modeling;4. Language: Fluent in written and spoken English for independent communication; Mandarin is a plus;5. Soft Skills: Logical, resilient, strong cross-cultural communication and team leadership; willing to travel internationally up to 20%.
