Position Overview:In this role you will be responsible for all Finance Operations, managing the team, Finance Strategy and regular MIS reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.Minimum Qualifications:At least 10 years of experience in Finance and AccountingMinimum 3 years of experience in a Deputy Manager or higher-level roleDemonstrated experience in leading and managing a team of 10 or more direct reports is mandatoryRequired Skills:● Exceptional Excel Skills● Macros / VBA is preferred● Data analysis● Strong problem solving abilities; being organized and efficient● Exceptional communications skills in English and relationship management skills● Honesty, integrity, strong work ethic, and people skills that enable collaboration● Demonstrated record of success in a fast paced, high volume environment● Knowledge and experience of the finance industryRoles & Responsibilities:The Finance Manager role is a dynamic one. While the responsibilities are wide, the key responsibilities are listed below:● Oversee finance department operations such as payments, invoice processing, loan payments, etc. Ensure best practices are being followed in daily ops. Set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.● Oversee payment of NICE, pension and income tax for PAYE employees.● Identify and track key financial metrics to drive efficiency and profitability.● Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff whilerecommending further courses of action. Help operating leaders to understand the Key financial metrics.● Monitor targets/budgets and course corrections against plan vs. actual, property-wise presentation of monthly Financials and key financial levers.● Advise on property-investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take● Maintain the financial health of the organization.● Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.● Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances.● Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.● Manage the preparation of the company’s budget, including department-wise budgets.Rate: £800 to £1,100 per month
