Finance Manager

As a growing international company in the food and beverage industry, we are seeking a Finance Manager for our new French site, located in the Maritime Alps region.The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the local financial operations and ensuring seamless alignment with the company's global reporting, compliance, and strategic objectives. This role combines hands-on financial management with strategic business partnership, providing insights that drive growth, efficiency, and profitability.ResponsibilitiesLead the full spectrum of finance and accounting operations for the site, including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, cash flow, and payroll.Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with group policies and IFRS/local GAAP.Partner with the Group’s finance leadership to align budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.Oversee cost control, pricing analysis, and margin optimization initiatives.Manage financial audits, tax reporting, and statutory compliance.Ensure effective internal controls, risk management, and process improvement across all financial functions.Support integration of the site’s financial systems into the global Group structure.Provide financial insights to support management decision-making and strategic initiatives.Payroll management with external company.Supervise and develop the local finance team.Knowledge and skillsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.Minimum 5–7 years of experience in finance management within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.Strong knowledge of IFRS/local GAAP and financial reporting systems (ERP experience preferred).SAP experience preferred.Proven experience in financial integration or working within multinational structures.Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.Fluent in English.This is an opportunity to shape the financial future of a growing international company, combining the heritage of the site with the global scale and resources of the Group.
