Finance Manager

For our client, an international company with HQ in the UK, we are looking for a Finance Manager to be part of the local finance team. In this role you will be responsible for the financial accounting, treasury, and tax accounting of the local entities. You will ensure an accurate, consistent, timely, and efficient financial administration. You will report to the Group Controller.Responsible for the financial administration of the Dutch legal entities including tax and treasuryManaging the company's financial accounting and adherence to accounting guidelinesLiaising with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.Coaching the financial department colleagues (Financial Assistants) as well as performing regular transactional tasksResponsible for the monthly end-closingReporting consolidationMonitoring the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions)Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirementsMake sure that fiscal legal requirements are met (for instance VAT)Keeping up to date with technological advances and accounting software to be used for financial and reporting purposesJob requirementsBachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or similar field7 + years of relevant experience in accountingPreferably with background in statutory accountingCommercial and business awarenessExcellent people management skillsStrong communication skills, able to communicate on different levels in the organizationStrong analytical capabilitiesSound judgment, professional and personal integrityDutch and English fluentWhat we offerA challenging job in a strong growing international companyMarket gross salary plus yearly bonusAn international environmentPension: 100% paid by the companyHealth insurance: 100% paidInsurance for disabilityFree lunch at the officeMobility allowanceLaptop and phone
