Location: Apata, IbadanEmployment Type: Full-TimeSalary Range: ₦300,000 – ₦350,000 MonthlyExperience Level: Minimum of 4 YearsJob SummaryThe Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization to ensure fiscal health, operational efficiency, and compliance with statutory regulations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong financial acumen, strategic insight, and the ability to lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support business growth and sustainability.Core Responsibilities1. Financial Planning & Analysis Develop and implement long- and short-term financial plans aligned with business goals. Prepare, monitor, and control budgets and financial forecasts. Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions to improve performance. 2. Financial Reporting & Compliance Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and other statutory requirements (FIRS, LIRS, etc.). Coordinate and liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and external consultants. 3. Financial Operations Management Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including reconciliations, payroll, and cash flow management. Ensure accurate record-keeping and effective internal control systems. Supervise and develop finance team members to maintain professional standards. 4. Strategic Financial Advising Provide financial insights and recommendations to management for informed decision-making. Support cost management, business expansion, and investment decisions. Identify and mitigate financial risks while improving profitability. 5. Investment & Treasury Management Manage liquidity and working capital to ensure adequate cash flow for operations. Oversee investment portfolios and evaluate potential financial opportunities. Optimize fund utilization and ensure prudent financial management. Key Skills & Competencies Excellent knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and compliance standards. Strong analytical, budgeting, and forecasting skills. Proficiency in accounting and financial management software (QuickBooks, Sage, SAP, Tally ERP, etc.). Leadership and team management ability. Exceptional attention to detail, integrity, and problem-solving capability. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. RequirementsQualifications & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in financial management, accounting, or a related role. ICAN certification (mandatory). Additional certifications such as ACCA, CFA, or CPA are an added advantage.
