Job Description

The Finance Manager will oversee all financial operations of the real estate development company, including budgeting, financial planning, reporting, and cash flow management. This role is strategic and hands-on, supporting the CEO in financial decision-making and ensuring the company’s financial health, regulatory compliance, and profitability across multiple real estate projects.Key Responsibilities1. Financial Planning & StrategyDevelop and implement the company’s financial strategy aligned with business goals and growth plans.Prepare financial forecasts, feasibility studies, and business cases for new real estate projects.Support the CEO with financial insights for investment and project decisions.2. Budgeting & Cost ControlLead the preparation of annual budgets and project budgets.Monitor and control project costs, expenditures, and cash flow.Identify variances and recommend corrective actions to maintain financial discipline.3. Financial Reporting & AnalysisPrepare accurate and timely financial reports, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.Provide monthly performance analysis and KPIs for management review.Ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.4. Treasury & Cash Flow ManagementManage company liquidity, bank relationships, and project financing facilities.Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and collections to optimize working capital.Monitor and forecast cash requirements for operations and development projects.5. Compliance & Internal ControlsEnsure compliance with tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.Implement and maintain robust internal controls and financial policies.Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and government authorities.6. Leadership & CoordinationLead and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and accuracy.Collaborate with project, procurement, and legal teams to ensure financial integrity across departments.Act as a key business partner to the CEO and executive management team.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (Master’s or MBA preferred).CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.Minimum 7–10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.Proven experience in real estate development, construction, or investment sectors.Strong understanding of project financing, feasibility studies, and real estate cost structures.Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., ERP) and advanced Excel skills.Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
