Job Description

Role DescriptionThe Finance Officer will be responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, maintaining financial discipline, and supervising the finance team. The role requires close coordination with sales, retail, and HR departments to ensure smooth day-to-day financial transactions and compliance with company policies.Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.Ensure timely reconciliation of bank statements and petty cash.Supervise and guide the finance/accounts team in day-to-day operations (billing, cash, deposits, and data entries).Train and develop team members to improve efficiency and compliance.Oversee billing, invoicing, and collection processes for showrooms and retail counters.Ensure staff and vendor payments are processed on time with proper documentation.Monitor staff product sales, credit limits, and ensure timely clearance of dues.Maintain and update records related to VAT, TDS, and other statutory requirements.Support external and internal audit activities.Monitor daily cash flow, deposits, and fund requirements.Control unnecessary expenses and ensure approval procedures are followed.Qualifications & Experience:MBA (major in finance) or CA passed out.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably in retail, cosmetics, or FMCG industry.Strong leadership and team supervision experience.Sound knowledge of VAT, TDS, and Nepalese accounting standards.Proficiency in Tally / Swastik / or other accounting software.Strong analytical and communication skills.Interested candidates can share their resumes at ho.hr@advancegroup.com.np !!
