Finance Officer

Job Title: Finance OfficerEmployment Type: Full-TimeIndustry: Fintech & CryptocurrencyLocation: Ikeja, Lagos StateCompensation: ₦300,000net Monthly (Negotiable based on experience)Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PMKey Responsibilities• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including payables, receivables, and reconciliations.• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.• Track and reconcile crypto and fiat transactions across multiple platforms.• Oversee budget preparation, expense management, and cash flow monitoring.• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax obligations, and internal audit requirements.• Coordinate with auditors, regulatory bodies, and banking partners.• Provide financial insights to management for strategic decision-making.• Collaborate with product and operations teams to align accounting processes with fintech transaction systems (crypto exchange, virtual cards, bill payments, and gift cards).• Implement and maintain accounting software for efficient reporting and control.• Develop and enforce internal financial policies to prevent fraud and ensure transparency.Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in finance or accounting roles within both fintech and banking environments (required).• Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is a strong advantage.• Strong understanding of digital payment systems, cryptocurrency accounting, and financial reconciliations.• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Zoho Books.• Excellent analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.• High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.• Must reside within close proximity to Ikeja for ease of commute.
