Finance Officer

With a range of escorted coach tours, independent city stays, and deluxe river cruising, we cater for all travellers and travel styles.Your New RoleBased in our Sydney Office, the primary responsibility of the Finance Officer is to assist in the processing of all transactions on tour bookings sold by Gfob across Australia and New Zealand.What will you be doing?Allocate monies received correctly and prepare daily reconciliations of receipts. Process refunds, ex-gratia payments, and outgoing payments. Assist in the preparation of insurance letters, billings, reconciliations, statements, and ledgers. Review and clear all outstanding balances for tours. Handle receipting and financial enquiries from internal and external customers. What are we looking for?Studying towards or completed tertiary qualifications in accounting and finance. 12 months experience in a similar role is preferred, though not essential. High-degree of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft 365.Excellent communication and numeracy skills, with impeccable attention to detail.Ability to work to deadlines and maintain accuracy whilst working under pressure.
