Come and build with us.🎯 Your main goal will be to build accurate, timely, and scalable finance and accounting operations that power n8n’s hyper-growth while strengthening financial compliance and decision-making.To do so, here are your responsibilities:Finance AutomationsAnalyze and prioritize finance processes across accounting, receivables, payables, reporting, and financial operations for automation potentialCollaborate with Finance and Operations stakeholders to gather requirements and design automation solutionsBuild, test, and maintain automations using n8n, ensuring reliability and scalabilityMonitor automation performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve efficiencyExperiment with new automation tools, AI capabilities, and best practices to keep n8n’s finance stack cutting-edgeDocument automations and contribute to a playbook that supports future scale and knowledge sharingFinance OperationsSupport day-to-day operations such as supplier onboarding, invoice processing, and documentation managementContribute to monthly reporting by supporting reconciliations, preparing analyses, and assisting with ad-hoc projectsRequirementsMust-haves🎓 Educational Background: You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, finance, or a related field📑 Analytical Skills: You’re confident working with data (spreadsheets, SQL, or BI tools), spotting inefficiencies, and applying structured problem-solving📝 Communication Skills: You can clearly communicate with peers and stakeholders in English🧠 Ownership & Reliability: You take initiative, manage your tasks independently, and deliver with precision and on timeNice-to-haves🧑‍💻 Programming & Automation: Basic experience with scripting (Python or JavaScript), APIs, and workflow automation tools (e.g. n8n, Zapier), ideally with AI🇩🇪 German Language Skills: Basic fluency in German is a plus✨ Tech Savvy: You’re eager to learn new tools and apply automation for efficiency🌍 Async Work Proficiency: You’re comfortable working in a remote-first, async-first environment🧩 Scaling Environment Mindset: You’re motivated by working in fast-growing, evolving environments where processes are being built from scratchWhy join us?At n8n, your work won’t disappear into a slide deck.
