Job PurposeThe purpose & role of the Associate Manager Finance will be managing and overseeing the overall finance function for the business unit and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the entity's financial position. This position is expected to work closely with the head of the business unit and align with business and finance objectives.About the Maritime ClusterAD Ports Group’s Maritime & Shipping Cluster is led by Noatum Maritime, a globally connected agile entity operating across multiple countries. With a fleet of over 250 vessels and decades of expertise, Noatum Maritime offers a diverse portfolio of services delivering “everything you need on the seas.”Responsibilities 1. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Manage and coordinate the budgeting and forecasting processes with operations and department heads.Formulate annual budgets and rolling forecasts with periodic variance analysis against actual performance.Conduct trend analysis and identify financial risks and opportunities.Develop KPI dashboards and management reports to support strategic decision-making.2. Reporting & Management InformationPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports aligned with corporate standards.Provide leadership with clear MIS reports reflecting financial and operational performance.Ensure accurate revenue recognition and maintain controls over the billing process (in compliance with IFRS standards).3. Financial Controls & GovernanceImplement and monitor internal controls to ensure financial integrity and audit readiness.Continuously review and enhance finance systems, processes, and policies to drive efficiency.Support compliance with external audit requirements and internal financial policies.4. Financial Modelling & Investment EvaluationBuild and maintain financial models for new businesses, joint ventures, and CAPEX projects.Conduct scenario modelling, DCF, NPV, IRR, and payback analysis for investment decisions.Provide sensitivity analysis and financial due diligence in support of strategic projects.5. Commercial & Business PartneringCollaborate with BU heads to assess contract profitability, pricing strategies, and bid support.Provide commercial teams with financial insights on OPEX trends, margin analysis, and cost structures.Act as a strategic partner in performance reviews and business growth initiatives.6. Working Capital & Transactional FinanceMonitor and manage accounts receivable (AR) to ensure timely collections and maintain DSO targets.Oversee accounts payable (AP) and support optimal working capital and cash flow visibility.Improve cash conversion cycles and provide accurate cash forecasts for operational needs.QualificationsAccounting Degree10+ years in progressive finance roles, with experience in FP&A, modeling, and team leadership, with experience in a similar position in Marine Services.Advanced interpersonal abilities, including excellent written and verbal communication skills.Required SkillsAdvanced Excel and financial modelling proficiency.Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI).Strong knowledge of IFRS and internal control frameworks.Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.Effective communicator and business partner.Results-oriented, process-driven, and proactive.
