This position requires a self-motivated individual who can demonstrate strong operational and strategic financial leadership capabilities while engaging in Pharma R&D business processes.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide financial results and analysis to business partners to support better business decisions, including support on project costing, pricing, and other ad-hoc requirement.Ensures that appropriate processes are in place to report financials timely, accurately and compliantly, collaborating with teams in multiple functions/locationsEnsure adherence to SOX, WWP's, internal policies and procedures as well as supporting compliance activities including internal/external auditsEnsure accurate and compliant monthly/quarterly/yearly reporting and operations in collaboration with Finance teams in multiple functions and locations.Support on IP billing and intercompany process and collaboration with TAX team to ensure the regulatory requirement is fulfilled and internal control is in place.Support on fixed asset process control for business partners and ensure to report R&D asset timely and accurately.Support global finance reps on budget planning and forecasting on HC/Functional cost/CAPEX spending for IM R&D Japan functions. Facilitate BVA review with responsible functions as needed.Collaborate with business partners to continuously drive process improvements and efficiency.QualificationsUniversity Degree (Must): preferable in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics, and/or master’s degree is a plus.
