Job Title: Accounting SpecialistIndustry: Automotive Manufacturing / Import & Distribution / Dealer Network OperationsRole ObjectiveThe Accounting Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all tax and financial operations of the company, ensuring regulatory compliance, financial accuracy, and strategic alignment with business goals. This role plays a key part in supporting senior management through detailed financial insights and contributes to the overall performance and profitability of the business.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Tax Management• Work on daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, invoicing, and general ledger management.• Work with the General Accountant to prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities.• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company.• Coordinate external audits, tax audits and liaise with tax authorities, and ensure full compliance with local tax and reporting regulations.• Support the preparation and timely filing of all local tax returns.• Support on tax implications of business transactions, including M&A and cross-border operations.• Support the annual budgeting and financial forecasting processes; monitor actual vs. forecasted results.Cross-Functional Business Support• Partner with Sales, After-Sales, Procurement, and Operations teams to provide financial support and business insights.• Liaise with regional/global finance teams, suppliers, and financial institutions.Systems & Process Optimization• Implement and maintain financial controls and process improvements across all finance functions.• Support ERP system usage (SAP or similar), ensuring timely and accurate data input.RequirementsCategoryDetailsEducationBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, or related field; Contador Público Nacional preferredExperienceMinimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting and tax management within the automotive or manufacturing industry; multinational background is a plusTechnical SkillsStrong knowledge of Argentinian tax and financial regulations; proficiency in IFRS/US GAAP; ERP system experience (e.g., SAP)LanguagesNative Spanish; Fluent English required (oral and written)Soft SkillsStrong analytical mindset, attention to detail, leadership capabilities, and ability to manage multiple priorities
