Corporate Services ProviderSalary based on skills and experience x 13 salaries plus benefits including Medical Insurance, Provident Fund, Parking, Lunch Allowance, and bonus Our client is a dynamic independent provider of trust and corporate services established in Cyprus, offering inter alia, tax advisory, fund administration, investment services, accounting and book-keeping, legal services and insolvency services in a number of key jurisdictions. The Group's business is focused on professionalism, attention to detail, and specialization on selected services with a strong partner network worldwide. Currently they are looking to recruit a Financial Services - Team Lead for their established offices in Limassol. This role can be done fully remotely. You’ll only need to go to the office for meetings and some other obligations. In this role you will be reporting to the Head of Finance.Responsibilities:Review and advise on business transactionsSupervise accountants and finance officersAllocate tasks, monitor deadlines and ensure workload balanceReview work, provide coaching, support, training, and development to team membersResponsible to ensure internal controls and accounting policies are followed by team membersAssist in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecastsPerform variance analysis (actual vs budget) and provide commentary and/or suggest corrective actionsDevelop dashboards and KPIs for financial performance monitoringReviewing and occasionally processing accounting transactionsOversee month-end and year-end closing processesReview and ensure accuracy of management accounts and financial statements prepared under IFRSReview the accounting reports prepared for FundsSupport implementation of risk management frameworks and internal policiesOversee the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial reporting processesRequirements:Degree in Accounting or equivalentACCA/ACA qualification is mandatoryAt least 5 years of relevant previous experience of which 2 post obtaining professional qualificationMinimum 2 years of relevant experience in the accounting services industry Experience in managing a portfolio of client accountsFluent business level Greek and EnglishStrong accounting knowledge (IFRS, accruals, controls).Excellent analytical and financial modelling skills.High proficiency with ERP systems (Odoo)Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.Ability to manage teams and communicate with stakeholders.Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressureManagement skills and experienceVerbal and written communication skillsGood knowledge of MS officeVery good knowledge of Tax and VATInitiative and reliabilityAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamCustomer service orientationTime management and good organizational skillsLocated in CyprusThe working hours are from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 - 18:00 with an hour lunch break and Friday's from 9:00 - 15:30. This role can be done fully remotely. You’ll only need to go to the office for client/ team meetings and some other obligations.
