A leading multinational in Dublin (two days office) is looking to hire a Financial Accountant. Excellent opportunity to join a large finance function where you can progress upwards. Ideally looking for someone Big 4 trained with a few years industry experience.Key Responsibilities Of The Finance ManagerSupport on the Financial Reporting and Compliance for several countriesSupporting the Finance Manager and Senior Financial Accountants on external auditsBank, Prepayments and Fixed Asset AccountingEnsure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes for given entities including commentaryEnsure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and proceduresEnsure that all taxes including payroll, corporate tax and VAT are reported and paid/collected to/from the relevant authorities within prescribed timelines across the relevant entitiesEnsure internal and external financial reporting deadlines are metLiaise with internal audit department to ensure timely completion of audits, SOX control testing and implementation of any recommendationsSkills & ExperienceQualified AccountantBig 4 trained with PQEMulti-national, multi co code experience – FMCG preferredFinancial, tax & statutory accounting experienceExperience using SAPAdvanced ExcelRobert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
