Senior Financial Accountant – PermanentLocation: Dublin 1, Co. DublinType: Full-time | PermanentA+F Recruitment is partnering with an organisation in the financial services sector to recruit a Senior Financial Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified finance professional to join a growing business with a strong presence in asset and commercial real estate finance.The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller and will take ownership of a range of core finance activities, from statutory reporting to treasury and SPV management. The role involves a mix of hands-on finance work and strategic input.Key Responsibilities:Lead management reporting and statutory accounting processes, including preparation of the group consolidation filePrepare cash flow and P&L forecasts to support liquidity and financial planningReview and interpret legal documents and SPV structuresOversee month-end controls and reporting sign-offsLiaise with third-party service providers on SPV activities and cash flow queriesCoordinate annual audits and manage timely delivery of audit informationSupport systems accounting across HP and lease databasesMonitor liquidity and hedging positions as part of treasury managementPrepare and submit VAT and corporation tax returnsRequirements:Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 2+ years PQEStrong technical knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standardsExperience working with securitisations and SPV structuresCommercial acumen with the ability to interpret financial data and legal documentationExcellent time management, communication, and interpersonal skillsHigh proficiency in Microsoft ExcelDesirable:Experience in a regulated financial services environmentExposure to asset-backed securitisations or complex group structuresBenefits:Competitive salary Hybrid working model (3 days office, 2 days WFH)PensionStrong learning and development opportunity within a growing businessTo Apply: Email your CV to mark.donnelly@afrecruitment.ie or click 'Apply' to submit your application.
