Reporting into the Finance Manager in Ireland - with the aim of strengthening our Finance & Controlling team across EMEA and Freight Forwarding. Our successful candidate will play a key role in the month end close and the main point contact of the audit for all the Irish entities.Location: Dublin hybrid workingHours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Mon-FriHow You Will ContributeReview and analysis of SG&A month end close providing meaningful variance analysis of results and commentary against budget / forecast – WD1/WD2Responsible for timely and accurate month end close of 3 operating sites providing meaningful variance analysis of results and commentary against budget / forecast – WD3Preparation of Yearly Budget for 3 entities Manage and lead the Finance accounts assistantConduct various analysis on both own initiative and on request from senior management, reporting back the finding and recommendations Managing the yearly Group and Statutory AuditsProduction of statutory accounts for 12 entities Manage and reconcile IFRS 16 entries for main trading entity Liaising with operations and other finance departments to ensure information is received on a timely basisReview of the weekly Irish cash forecast and manage the EMEA weekly cash forecastManage and produce monthly reconciliations for the main trading entity and Treasury Manage and produce quarterly reconciliations for our non-trading entitiesManage and reconcile the Fixed asset register within SAP to include internally developed SoftwareManage and reconcile Eurovat claims throughout EuropeManaging Treasury postings and ensuring that everything reconciles dailyManaging the Treasury Loans report for Europe Ensuring all intercompany balances reconcile for month end closeCSO returnsPreparation and posting of journal entriesWhat You Will BringQualified accountant ACA; ACCA; CIMA; or CPAHave a minimum of 5 years’ post qualified experience in a busy Financial accounting roleExcellent communication skills and a track record in building relationships as you will be liaising with both internal and external personnel at all levelsPast experience of working in a large practice is desirableExperience of SAP & Oracle are desirable (not essential)Strong Excel skill desirableAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to multi-task and prioritize work effectively, in order to meet reporting deadlinesAbility to communicate with a variety of people, with different regional backgrounds and rolesFlexibility and the willingness to learn and develop on the job Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools – Excel proficiency is desirable CompensationDP World offers exciting and challenging roles within a growing international organisation.
