Financial Accountant

Come Innovate Motion with UsWe are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance Hub in Asti, Italy. As a member of a dedicated Team of Accounting professionals for Europe, you will be responsible for the accounting and monthly closing tasks for Johnson Electric’s European HQ that is based in Switzerland.Your responsibilities will be to:Ensure compliance of bookings with accounting principles, internal and external regulationsProvide timely and accurate monthly reporting packagesComplete general ledger and analytical accounting tasksCarry out monthly, quarterly and year-end closuresMaintain close cooperation with Financial ControllingParticipation in internal and external audits when requiredAct as a Business Partner to other departmentsEnsure deadlines are met and high quality of data is providedOur requirements:BSc or MSc degree in Economics, Finance or AccountingIdeally 3-5 years’ professional experience in a relevant accounting positionFluency in business English (oral and written)Analytical mindset and great attention to detailsAdvanced Excel skillsFlexibility for occasional travel within EuropeWould be advantageous:CPA qualificationBig Four and/or work experience in international business environmentIFRS knowledgeOracle experienceWhat we offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional growth and developmentCollaborative and innovative work environmentA truly international and multicultural work contextCome join our global, inclusive & diverse teamOur purpose is to improve the quality of life of everyone we touch through our innovative motion systems.
