With a global footprint spanning 195 countries, approximately 100,000 companies, and 140 million end users (equivalent to about 1 in 50 people globally), we are now moving forward into the cloud, SaaS, and beyond print.This is a 6-month fixed-term contract to assist us through a busy period, where we look at process improvements, automations and year-end close.What you'll actually do:Review Transactional accounting work, ensure data quality and of high accuracy.Prepare and collate the monthly reconciliations of allocated balance sheet accounts for all entities in the group.Work with the broader finance team for the month-end and year-end close.Working with external consultants on the VAT preparation, review and lodgment with the UK HMRC.Assist the team in preparing for and working through the yearly audit process.What you bring to the table:You have a solid understanding of financial accounting principles.You're a CA/CPA qualified professional with experience in tax accounting.You have experience in preparing month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close.You have strong MS Excel experience, including VLOOKUP, DataLookups and PivotTables.You can work within a cross-functional, global team and have some flexibility in hours.Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.What else can you expect from us?PaperCutters are eligible for an annual bonus where we Share the Success of our collective achievements.You receive generous leave options, including up to 18 weeks of parental leave.Empowered development options with a spend-as-you-like annual training budget.We're led by our values in everything we do - Caring, Honest, Intelligent and Nimble (CHIN).Our Camberwell office has free parking and unlimited coffee from our in-house espresso machine.Our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging programmes are highly visible day-to-day.More about PaperCutWe like to say we're the most exciting company in the most boring part of IT.
