Our client is one of the Fortune 500 general insurer, offering exposure to both Singapore and China operations and plays a key part in ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting in line with US GAAP and local MAS regulations.Responsibilities:Prepare and record branch financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in monthly corporate reporting.Perform balance sheet and P&L reconciliations under both US GAAP and local ledgers.Support quarterly and annual US financial reporting and regulatory submissions.Manage investment accounting activities for the assigned portfolio.Maintain strong internal controls, ensuring compliance with SOX requirements.Collaborate with regional finance and non-finance teams to uphold reporting integrity.Continuously identify and implement process improvement initiatives.Provide ad hoc support to the APAC Finance Shared Services team and assist the regional CFO as required.Requirements:Minimum 6 years of financial reporting experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry.Strong proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, macros) and general ledger systems (PeopleSoft experience preferred).Familiarity with US GAAP and SOX compliance desirable.Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.Degree in Accounting with Professional Qualification (ACCA, CA, or equivalent)Comfortable with short term contract of 6 months.What We DoAs a next-generation human capital firm, we connect the best talent in the market to execute transformation and high-value projects for our global clients—solving problems in the areas of Business Transformation, Governance, Risk and Compliance, and Technology and Digital Innovation.Our unique consulting model allows you the radical flexibility and control you demand in the "Now of Work," enabling you to define your career path based on your expertise, passion, desire to travel, work environment and life stage.
