From the vibrant cultures of Colombia to the breathtaking landscapes of Patagonia, we offer tailored itineraries that cater to the diverse interests of our clients.Position OverviewWe are looking for a detail-oriented Financial & Accounting Coordinator to support the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for a group of companies operating in Latin America. A key responsibility of this role is preparing consolidated financial reports across the group. The role involves maintaining accurate records, assisting with compliance, and ensuring accurate and timely financial data. Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Financial SupportMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple entities.Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial reports for the group.Record journal entries, assist with closing processes, and perform account/bank reconciliations.Monitor expenses and support tracking of budgets and forecasts.Assist with payroll accounting and related documentation.Support accounts payable and receivable functions when needed.Financial and Economic ReportingManage daily transactions and generate reports.Help compile and review data for internal and external reporting needs.Assist in preparing consolidated statements and dashboards to support business decisions.Ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting across local country offices (subsidiaries).Compliance & Administrative TasksLiaise with local external tax advisors when needed.Assist with local tax filings and ensure compliance with financial regulations.Support standardization of accounting procedures and reporting formats across the group.Team & Communication SupportWork closely with local accounting teams to gather financial data and ensure timely submissions.Communicate regularly with country and corporate management to report financial performance and flag issues.Support the implementation of improved accounting practices and processes. Qualifications & SkillsDegree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.3–5 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, preferably in a multi-entity or regional structure.Experience preparing or assisting with consolidated financial reporting.Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks preferable).Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.Working knowledge of accounting standards and tax practices in Latin America.Comfortable using Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English (French is a plus).
