Job Summary:The Financial Accounting Manager ensures smooth and accurate financial operations for the business, from sales reporting and vendor payments to cash flow and inventory control. By delivering reliable financial insights, driving process improvements, and leading a high-performing team, this role supports decision-making, compliance, and overall business growth.Key Responsibilities:Financial Operations & ControlsOversee daily financial operations including sales reporting, POS data reconciliation, cash/credit card settlements, payments processing, and vendor settlements.Manage working capital and cash flow effectively, including supplier payments, credit terms, and liquidity optimization.Work closely with supply chain and store operations teams to ensure accurate accounting of inventory, shrinkage, returns, and stock adjustments.Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets, minimize errors/fraud, and ensure smooth financial operations.Reporting & CompliancePrepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports with analysis and commentary for management and board review.Monitor and analyze operational KPIs (e.g., sales per store, payment cycle efficiency, inventory turnover) to identify risks and improvement opportunities.Ensure compliance with accounting standards, taxation requirements, and corporate governance regulations.Process Improvement & SystemsDrive process enhancement initiatives by implementing financial systems, automation tools, and best practices for workflow efficiency and accuracy.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen integration of financial processes with retail operations.Leadership & Team DevelopmentSupervise, coach, and develop the finance operations team to ensure high professional standards, accuracy, and continuous improvement.Job Requirement:Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics from a recognized Cambodian or international universityProfessional certification is an advantage.5–8 years of finance/accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role (retail or FMCG experience strongly preferred).Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, and overall business operations.In-depth understanding of retail finance processes, including sales, POS systems, inventory accounting, vendor management, and cash flow.Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems, advanced Excel, financial modeling, and process automation solutions.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities, with proven experience in team development.Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, supply chain, sales, and commercial).High integrity, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities.Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
