Financial Analyst

Job Purpose:The Financial Analyst will support business decision-making by providing detailed financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting. This role ensures accuracy in financial data, identifies trends, and provides insights to drive profitability and strategic planning.Key Responsibilities:Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.Monitor company performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations.Assist in developing financial models to evaluate business performance and investment opportunities.Conduct cost analysis to identify efficiency improvements and savings opportunities.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial summaries for management.Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.Support management in strategic planning, risk assessment, and capital allocation decisions.Track key financial indicators and highlight trends or anomalies.Maintain compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s or CFA preferred).3–5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or reporting.Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills (knowledge of Power BI or similar tools is a plus).Excellent communication and presentation abilities.Familiarity with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.Key Competencies:Financial planning and analysis (FP&A)Problem-solving and critical thinkingBusiness acumen and strategic mindsetAccuracy and attention to detailTime management and organizationCollaboration and cross-functional communication
