Job Description
Responsibilities:- Assist with monthly and quarterly close processes, including preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules.- Perform intercompany reconciliations and eliminations, investigating variances and ensuring integrity of consolidated data.- Support the corporate consolidation process in Oracle FCC.- Assist in maintaining reporting hierarchies, mapping files and metadata within Oracle FCC and assist with Smart View reporting templates.- Participate in the preparation of consolidated management reports, variance analyses, and executive dashboards.- Assist in preparation of consolidated financial statements and notes to disclosure under IFRS.- Support quarterly and year-end audit processes by preparing working papers and responding to auditor inquiries.Qualifications:- 1 to 3 years of post-qualification or related experience, preferably in a centralized head office environment.- Strong analytical skills combined with solid experience working with Microsoft Excel.- Experience working with financial consolidation software (e.g. FCC) would be an asset.- Professional accounting designation or currently working toward a CPA designation.SAMACO
