Are you a part-qualified or newly qualified accountant looking to develop your analytical and reporting skills in a dynamic, data-driven environment? We’re seeking a Finance Analyst to join one of our high profile clients in a growing finance team, supporting accurate and timely financial reporting with a focus on month-end processes.The role has 3 days hybrid working in the office each week in Reading.Great benefits on offer which includes a very generous holiday allowance.Key Responsibilities:Perform core month-end tasks, including accruals, prepayments, journal entries, and revenue recognition.Conduct variance analysis and prepare balance sheet reconciliations.Manage invoicing processes and ensure accurate financial documentation.Work independently to identify and resolve issues, ensuring financial integrity.Analyse and manage large datasets in Excel with precision and attention to detail.Assist with audit queries, budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.Support process improvements to streamline financial operations.Qualifications & Experience:Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA)Proven experience in month-end financial processes, including accruals, prepayments, journal entries, revenue recognition, variance analysis, invoicing, and balance sheet reconciliations.Skills:Advanced Excel skills with the ability to manage and analyse large datasets.High attention to detail and accuracy.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of tasks.
