Job DescriptionThe Manufacturing Financial Analyst is responsible for providing operating management with financial analysis of weekly and monthly operating results. You will have the opportunity to develop your unique skills, innovate, as well as take on expanded roles to capitalize on your potential while gaining global exposure.This Position Is Responsible ForCreation, Tracking and Closing of Capital and Expense Investment Project Spendings, Percentage of completionsAsset Management: Capitalization, Disposal and Transfer of AssetsSupporting Month End Closure by Preparing Journal Entries Month End and KPI Reporting Activities such as Product Cost Walks, AOI Variance Explanations, Variance Analysis of Actuals and Budgets related to Projects and Transformation CostsSOX Support through Physical Inventory Reviews, Monthly Checklists and Plant WalkthroughsSupplier Reconciliations, Writing Lease Projects, Weekly OT ReportingPreparing Business Plans, Monthly Forecasts for Project Expense, Capitalization, Depreciation and Overall Transformation CostsSPW - Cost Deployment Pillar being the Compass of the Plant to Eliminate Waste and Loss in the processAct as a business partner, at times leading discussions, with operational and other support function colleaguesThis role requires strong analytical skills, problem solving abilities with an ownership mindset What You Will LearnDeveloping relationships with multiple aspects of the organization to achieve the financial and SPW (Stellantis Production Way) goalsFinancial aspect of life cycle of a product and exposure to management of finances in manufacturingHow to drive SOX control, manage annual Asset Audits and perform annual physical inventories Applying financial principles to monitor and control costs while driving profitability within the plant Gaining expertise in budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and the ability to communicate financial results effectively to various stakeholdersFCA Canada Inc. is committed to providing accommodation for people with accessibility needs due to disabilities in all aspects of the hiring process. If you request an accommodation, we will work with you to meet your accessibility needs due to disability.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related degree Minimum THREE (3) years of experience in a similar finance/accounting roleA general understanding of core Finance or Accounting principlesAbility to gather and analyze large amounts of data, interpret results, and provide meaningful reports to operations on a variety of costsWillingness to grow and develop a career in Manufacturing Finance The ability to budget, forecast and report actuals through the monthly close processProficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Google and Microsoft SuitesLegally eligible to work in CanadaPreferred QualificationsMBA or equivalentMinimum 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience in maintaining SOX compliance for a locationProficient in SAP and Hyperion Essbase and knowledge of the project writing systemAt Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
