Job Description

Position Overview:The Financial Assistant plays a vital role by supporting the Head of Finance and Administration with all administration, bookkeeping and financial functions for the Franchisor.JOB DESCRIPTION Financial:- Weekly processing of the following:Invoices of multiple revenue streams and allocation of receiptsCreditors and ensure accurate allocation of payments thereofCredit card transactions Fleet card transactionsAll other payments- Monthly reconciliation includes: Debtors and creditors accountsCredit CardsFleet CardsBank Accounts, and Petty Cash- Assist in preparing for all audits- Preparation of all accounting up to trial balance- Weekly payment preparation and payment runs- Assistance with administrative tasksCross-Team Collaboration:Establish an integrated way of working between all facets of the various departments that will strengthen the Franchisor to provide the expected service to the Franchisees in line with the PNA Strategic plan.Build and maintain strong relationships with Franchisees and the Head Office team and strive to bring the Company Values daily. Collaborate with your direct team and provide support when required to ensure relevant goals are achieved. * Willingness to carry out any other duties or special assignments as assigned by Management. Skills & Behavioural Competencies:Excellent organisational, planning and time management skillsWilling to learn and grow Flexible to adjust as neededCommitted to deadlines Display an aptitude doe embracing technology in Finance and administration Good Financial AcumenStrong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.Effective Communication (verbal & written) skillsAbility to work proactively and take initiativeAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAgile & Flexible to adapt to changing Franchisor and Franchisee requirements.Live the Company values and bring them to life in your daily routine.Job Specification (Responsibilities and Requirements):Higher Certificate or Diploma in relevant field (Junior Bookkeeper or equivalent)Min. 5 years’ experience in same or similar roleProficiency in Microsoft Packages, Sage and/or XeroLanguage: English with and understanding of Afrikaans
