While each solution has its own distinct purpose, they all share the world-class quality and commitment that have come to distinguish Glacier.What will you do?The Financial Project Administrator will be responsible for reviewing and reconciling accounts, processing payments to external partners and maintaining updated records of invoices, including reporting on project-related spend for Glacier Financial Solutions part of the Glacier Group. This role will be based at the Glacier Head Office in Cape Town.Key outcomesThe following outcomes will be expected to be achieved by the Financial Project Administrator: Ensure all project invoices are captured upon receipt into the SAP accounting system. Liaising with Sanlam centralised services and monitoring of supplier records for payments and outstanding payments. Ensure all suppliers are paid timeously. Monthly reports and reconciliations performed over project related invoices and their respective suppliers. Assist with reports to finance management Maintaining schedules and details of project financial transfers and other project related payments required and their due dates General administrative support to the relevant financial projects Assist with analysing, prioritisation, and driving implementation of finance processes relating to project spend Effective creation of efficiencies within control environment Involvement in the budget and cost centre reporting process Monthly journals (including cost allocations, journal moves and credit card expense re-allocations), Involvement in the audit process (Internal and External) and timeously respond to audit related queries Ad-hoc financial tasksWhat will make you successful in this role?Qualifications And Experience Matric / Grade 12 BComm (Accounting) or Finance related qualification with 3 years’ experience in a similar role Technical and business knowledge within the financial services industry Computer Skills (MS Word, MS Excel, SAP FinancialCompetencies Formal Presentation SkillsAttributes Honesty, integrity, and respect Positive, enthusiastic attitude Professional work standards Teamwork & task driven Ability to thrive under pressureKnowledge And SkillsRecording of financial TransactionsReconciliations and query resolutionCompliance with SOP's and SLA'sAuthorisation of transactions within mandatesPersonal AttributesManages conflict - Contributing independentlyDemonstrates self-awareness - Contributing independentlyOptimises work processes - Contributing independentlyAction orientated - Contributing independentlyBuild a successful career with usWe’re all about building strong, lasting relationships with our employees.
